Norweigan Epic 7 Day Eastern Caribbean from Miami

The Norweigan Epic is definitely a nice ship. It was voted “Best Cruise Ship” by Travel Weekly in 2011 & 2012. I cruised with my wife and 2 kids (age 7 and 3). I will tell you the good and bad of this ship.

The Good:
There is plenty to do, the rooms were spacious enough for the family, especially since you will not be in the room much. The room was 128sf (interior cabin). It had a closet with a safe, a sink and bathroom, 2 bottom and 2 top beds. The ship has the Blue Man Group, Cirque Dreams and Dinner (extra fee), Legends in concert which was great. The ship also has plenty of free places to eat.

The ship is kept very clean. Now with the Ebola scares, I am guessing they will be even cleaner. Before dinner there is an employee spraying hand sanitizer. There are also hand sanitaizer stations all throughout the ship.

The Bad:
Everything cost extra. The good restaurant costs extra, gambling is extra, drinks are extra I have heard stories where people would bring their own booze by wrapping it up as a birthday gift and stating it was someones birthday. You are probably also going to want to gamble. Save your money because the odds are not in your favor.
